What We Believe

About God

What is "Apostolic"?

About the Bible

We believe there is one true and living God (Ephesians 4:5; Deuteronomy 6:4), whose name is Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:9). We believe Jesus is God manifested in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16), not a person in a triune God. It is through Jesus we find salvation, direction and eternal life. We are striving to grow into and become more like Jesus (Ephesians 4:13).

About the Bible

We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God

(2 Timothy 3:16). We believe it was given by God and written by the hand of men (2 Peter 1:21) and is still relevant for you and I today.

We believe in returning to what Scripture tells us and endeavour to grow in our knowledge of the Word of God and its relevance for our current lives.

About Salvation

What is "Apostolic"?

What is "Apostolic"?

We believe God’s plan for salvation today is the same as in the New Testament: repentance, water baptism, and being filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:37-39; 8:16; 19:5). We believe baptism must be done in the name of Jesus and by immersion

(Matthew 28:19, Acts 4:12). We believe the evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues (Acts 10:45-46, Acts 19:6).

What is "Apostolic"?

To put it simply, "apostolic" is to be like the Apostles. The term "Apostles" refers to the first church leaders whose lives and ministries were recorded in th Book of Acts. In Acts, certain attributes were used to describe the first  church and its leaders. If a characteristic, quality, or attitude defined the early church, we want to grow into the same today.
